An update from your Neighbourhood Policing Team |
||
|
Dear residents,
In April, we set three local priorities – Burglary, road safety and road traffic offences, and drug dealing and drug misuse. These were based on what local people told us concerned them most in their neighbourhood, as well as local crime statistics and information from our partners (such as the local council). These priorities have been the focus of much of our work and below is an update about some of the work we have been doing to tackle them over the last three months in the North East sector of Northampton. This includes the areas of Talavera, Billing & Rectory Farm, Riverside & Kingsthorpe, and Headlands & Parklands.
Burglary There have been 21 reported burglaries and 21 attempted burglaries of residential properties across the North East sector of Northampton.
Road safety and road traffic offences Operation Thief has been launched to tackle vehicle crime and theft from motor vehicles. So far, two arrests have been made, and one person has been charged with vehicle crime and remanded to custody.
Drug dealing and drug misuse
Everyone who lives or works in Northamptonshire is invited to tell us about any local issues that concern them and the easiest way to do this is by completing our Local Priorities survey
Your feedback is really important and we appreciate you taking the time to share your views with us.
